The 24th Traditional Antalya Education Symposium was held in Antalya this year with a large number of participants under the theme "Education 5.0". Organized by the Turkish Private Schools Association (TÖZOK) with the theme "Education 5.0", the symposium brought together private school administrators, teachers, academics, and various stakeholders of the education sector on the same platform. Representing Sabancı University at the symposium were Marketing and Institutional Communications Director Mutlu Bozkurt Besimzade, Institutional Marketing Leader Semih Bilen, Institutional Marketing Specialist Gülekşen Yaylı, and Institutional Marketing Specialist Buğrahan Ceylan.

Throughout the three-day event, many topics focusing on transformation in education were discussed. The symposium provided an important platform for sharing and evaluating ideas on how private educational institutions can develop educational models that adapt to the changing world.
The Education 5.0 Approach Was at the Center of the Agenda
This year's theme, Education 5.0, centered on a new educational vision aiming to accelerate the transition from traditional teaching methods to digital and technology-supported learning models.
The symposium comprehensively addressed student-centered learning models, artificial intelligence, VR/AR and data analytics-based applications, and creativity and critical thinking skills. Future competencies such as problem-solving, collaboration, and digital literacy also formed an important part of the discussions. Experts emphasized that technology in education should be positioned not only as a tool but also as an integral element of pedagogical transformation.
Academic Sessions and Workshops Attracted Great Interest
The academic presentations, panels, and workshops held within the scope of the symposium attracted great interest from the participants. Knowledge and experience were shared across a wide range of topics, from education policies to classroom practices, from measurement and evaluation to digital learning ecosystems.
The education technology fair held in the event area brought together the sector's current solutions. Numerous companies operating in the fields of information technology, publishing, educational materials, and school equipment had the opportunity to directly contact private school administrators. The fair area also served as an important meeting point for inter-institutional collaborations and annual agreements.
A Shared Vision for the Future of Education
TÖZOK's traditional Antalya Education Symposium once again provided a strong platform for discussion on quality, innovation, and sustainable development in education. Evaluations conducted within the framework of the Education 5.0 approach shed light on the future preparation processes of private educational institutions and revealed a shared vision regarding the inevitability of transformation in education.
